The application of metal corrugated pipes and finned corrugated pipes in internal combustion engine coolers involves installing 1-1000 metal corrugated pipes with discontinuous convex and concave shapes inside the shell or between the two tube plates of the cooling core of a gasoline and diesel engine cooler. They are fixed on one end of the tube plate using methods such as tube expansion and welding to change the flow state of the cooling medium, improve heat transfer coefficient and increase heat transfer efficiency. The invention has novel ideas, practical technology, low cost, reliable performance, high heat transfer efficiency, no scaling, long service life, and low thermal stress.
1. The pressure is determined based on the actual working pressure of the hose, and then the nominal diameter of the ripple and the pressure gauge are checked to determine whether to use a stainless steel mesh sleeve type.
2. The nominal diameter of the hose, the selection of joint types (mainly including flange connection, threaded connection, and quick joint connection), the size, and the length of the hose.
3. According to the condition of the hose during use, refer to the correct use and installation method of metal hoses and the optimal length of the hose during settlement compensation. Calculate the length of various motion states of the hose and factors such as the minimum bending number and minimum bending radius of the hose. Select the correct length of the hose and install it correctly.
4. The working temperature and range of the medium inside the temperature hose; The ambient temperature during hose operation. At high temperatures, the pressure after temperature correction must be determined based on the temperature correction coefficient of the working pressure of the metal corrugated pipe at high temperatures to determine the correct pressure level.
5. The chemical properties of the medium conveyed in the medium hose determine the material of each component of the hose according to the corrosion resistance performance parameter table of the hose material.

Steel strip corrugated pipe, also known as steel strip reinforced polyethylene spiral corrugated pipe, is a wound structural wall pipe composed of high-density polyethylene (PE) as the substrate (inner and outer layers) and surface coated adhesive resin steel strip. The pipe wall structure is composed of three layers: the inner layer is a continuous solid wall PE inner layer pipe, and the outer layer of the inner layer pipe is wrapped with a circular corrugated steel strip reinforcement (formed into a "V" shape using steel plates). The corrugated steel strip reinforcement is compounded with an outer layer of polyethylene, thereby synthesizing an overall spiral corrugated pipe. Its typical structure is shown in the figure. The elastic modulus of steel is nearly 200 times that of polyethylene (the elastic modulus of carbon steel [2] is around 190000MPa). Combining the advantages of metals and plastics is clearly an ideal way to achieve high stiffness and low consumption. It can organically combine the high stiffness and strength of steel with the excellent properties of plastic such as corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and flexibility, and leverage the advantages of both aspects to make up for their shortcomings, achieving the unity of high performance and low cost.
